Drive Sleek for Trucks & Semis
Paring the Drive Sleek with an OTR (Over-the-Road) antenna makes a great configuration for large trucks and semis. For whole vehicle coverage, check out the weBoost Drive Reach or weBoost Drive X. If you find yourself driving in extremely rural, off-the-grid areas, we recommend the Drive Reach. Yes. Your cellular device must be in the cradle to receive boosted cell signal.
The adjustable cradle fits any device between 5.1" and 7.5" long.
Unless you have a metal case, you don’t need to remove your phone case for the Drive Sleek to work. Metal blocks cell signal, so it may prevent your phone from receiving maximum amplification.
The only difference between the two kits is the external antenna. The Drive Sleek includes a standard magnet mount fin outdoor antenna, while Drive Sleek OTR includes an OTR antenna. The OTR antenna requires a fixed installation and is designed for trucks and semis.
We don’t recommend the Drive Sleek for extremely weak signal areas. It works best in urban and suburban areas. For those extreme cases, consider the Drive Reach.
