The Peplink Max BR1 Pro uses up to two SIM cards to access multiple cellular networks. It captures existing 5G/LTE signals from one carrier at a time using its four 5G/LTE antennas. The cellular signal is then converted into reliable internet. Devices can connect via WiFi or Ethernet. If your main connection drops, the router automatically connects to your backup link for uninterrupted connectivity.
If you want a quality WiFi 6 router that supports 5G and LTE, the Peplink Max BR1 Pro 5G is a great option. For pure LTE connectivity with similar features, consider the Peplink Max BR1 Pro.
The Max BR1 Pro 5G is predominately designed for mobile use. You can install it in any vehicle, including RVs, trucks, boats, ambulances, police cars, and more. However, it can also be used in warehouses and offices.
The main difference between the two routers is that the Max BR1 Pro 5G supports 5G/LTE frequencies. The Max BR1 Pro only supports LTE frequencies.
